Royal Rajasthan on Wheels-A Deluxe Tourist Train

He's got hot rodding in his gearhead blood
Deluxe Wheels
When looking at his beautiful 1939 Ford Deluxe sedan streetrod, it's easy to see that Jack Arnold was genetically hard-wired to become a hot rodder. Before Jack came into the picture, his father Frank roared around in a stripped down, 'souped up' 1927

Deluxe Wheels question by belizehp: I need help with a lego set the Cargo train deluxe and can i use another piece for the wheels at the front?
hey can anyone help me out here. i bought a lego cargo train deluxe from a kid for 18 bucks (BZD of course, which is about 9$ USD) but it was only for the locomotive. It didnt have the wheels for it to move so i put in another kind but the metal piece didnt allow the train to move. ik what piece to use to make it work but i dont have the wheels. could there be any other piece i could use to make the train run on the tracks?

What you should do depends on what parts you already have.

If you already have the 9V track, it might be worth buying the additional pieces to make it all work.
If not, you might want to consider the newer Lego Power Function Remote Control stuff.

Here is a discussion on bricklink.com that talks about powering one of the new trains with the old 9V parts (to work on the 9V track).

These are the same parts you will need.
The wheels shown in this discussion are the right wheels.

You may find, that it is cheaper to buy the Lego new Power Function accessories.

If you have much of the 9V track, you can sell it, for more than its original retail price. You may find that you can sell it for enough to buy both the same quantity of the newer Lego train track, and the other accessories you need to make your train work on the newer track.
You will need to also build a car to haul the battery.
But if you have a decent collection of existing Lego pieces, this is not to hard.
